1986
Liberty Healthcare Corporation is newly incorporated by innovating in Health Workforce Outsourcing in acute care, psychiatry, and I/DD. Liberty finds success in locations, practice settings, and positions once considered challenging.

1990
Liberty expands into Program Management by opening and managing the first of ten onsite company health clinics, one of the earliest such clinics managed by a contractor.

1996
The company launches a 10-year forensic continuum of care treatment program that is recognized as a “best practice” by the American Psychological Association’s CAPP Task Force on Serious Mental Illness and Severe Emotional Disturbance.

2000
Liberty achieves and maintains “first-ever” accreditations by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for three new types of programs: forensic rehab, dual diagnosis, and sexual abuse treatment.

2006
We are among the first to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services, a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

2007
Liberty broadens its expertise to provide the first of many person-centered Population Health Management programs that deliver statewide quality monitoring and outcomes measurement for people with disabilities.

2011
The company pilots a 20-bed program for jail-based restoration of competency that gains national recognition for its results. The program gains support and legislative praise for cost effectiveness, while expanding to 156 beds across multiple sites.

2012
Liberty operates the first program in North America to be accredited by the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed.

2013
We secured the first of several statewide contracts with state Medicaid agencies to provide a range of independent assessments.

2019
Liberty breaks new ground with a statewide program to support institutional transitions and community integration of persons with I/DD and high-risk behavior.

Liberty commenced partnerships with Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs)
